By starting with the basics you will discover how at the conclusion of training, through the lens of Lean, you can make a difference. Introduction to Lean class is designed to provide you with a fundamental understanding of Lean concepts.

The course brings Lean to life through the use of a team-building exercise; hands-on exercises; video and classroom instruction. It provides a clear understanding of how the concepts can be applied in practice. Attending Introduction to Lean prepares professionals to participate on teams that are designed to improve, redesign, and create efficient, customer-focused business processes. It is suitable for staff at all levels who desire to understand the concepts of Lean.

This class is offered to all University Faculty and Staff within the University System of New Hampshire.

PLEASE NOTE:

A portion of the learning is done online prior to the virtual class and is structured to learn at your own pace. The online classwork is required to be completed prior to attending the instructor lead portion of the training. The instructor lead portion is where you will participate in applying additional learnings, collaborate with your peers across all departments, and begin your Lean journey!

You will receive an email containing a link to the online coursework and a calendar invite to the virtual instructor lead class. As an attendee, you are required to complete the online pre-requisite work prior to attending the class.
