Thu., December 1, 2022, 9:00am-12:30pm

Led by: Dagmar Vlahos, Thomas Lencki

This session has passed.

By starting with the basics you will discover how at the conclusion of training, through the lens of Lean, you can make a difference.  Introduction to Lean class is designed to provide you with a fundamental understanding of Lean concepts.

The course brings “Lean” to life – through the use of a team-building exercise; hands-on exercises; video and classroom instruction. It provides a clear understanding of how the concepts can be applied in practice.  Attending Introduction to Lean prepares professionals to participate on teams that are designed to improve, redesign, and create efficient, customer-focused business processes.  It is suitable for staff at all levels who desire to understand the concepts of Lean.

This class is offered to all University Faculty and Staff within the New Hampshire university system.
Class space is limited so register today.

This is a hybrid course where a portion of the learning is done online at your own pace prior to attending the instructor lead portion of the training. The instructor lead portion is where you will participate in applying additional learnings, collaborate with your peers across all institutions, and begin your Lean journey!

2 weeks before the scheduled class you will receive an email containing a link and an invite to participate in the online section of the course.  As an attendee, you are required to complete the on-line pre-requisite work prior to attending the class.  Failure to complete the online portion of the course 2 days prior to the class start date will result in removal from the class and participants will require registering for a future class.

1 week before the scheduled class you will receive a Zoom Link to attend the scheduled class.

If you have any questions or if you have a special request to conduct an individual Introduction to Lean class for your department please contact Dagmar Vlahos at or Thomas Lencki Jr. at

We are excited to be part of your Lean journey and we look forward to the upcoming training!
