This training session is meant for users that have approved access to create or edit Finance reports within WebI. To check whether you have this access, log into WebI, open a report and check on the top right corner of the report. If you see the 'Design' button next to the 'Reading' button, you may have the access to edit reports.
In this hands-on session, users will learn the basics of creating WebIntelligence reports in the Java Report Panel, using data from the Banner Finance universe.
Course registration will close 5 business days before the date of the class. If the course minimum of 2 registrants is not met, we will contact you personally to discuss next steps.
Note: Previously, WebI was supported for use on Windows only, partly because the VPN, which is needed to access WebI, must run on Windows. However, IT has committed to supporting dual-platform functionality. Thus, if a user’s Mac is able to run a supported version of Windows, it may be possible to use it for WebI. Suggested Prerequisite:
Valid VPN and WebIntelligence Creator accounts, as well as having previously attended the WebIntelligence: Accessing Reports class, are required. It can take several days to process your account request, so please plan accordingly. You can request a change to your access to WebI Finance creator online at: https://itsupport.unh.edu/accounts.
